These walls can talk.

Perhaps the most exciting thing about my ideas is seeing them come to fruition. This was a blank wall, with high ceilings, where I visualized a loft being built. I purposely put the bed on the ground level, for ease of use of the bathroom, and I put the office up on top. Unlike most narrow staircases that lead to the loft space, I had this one made wider so it was much easier on the body to climb up. I then mixed in inexpensive IKEA furniture, HomeGood’s curtains and other interesting pieces to bring it all to life. I think the result came out beautifully.

How I turned a #2 into a #1.

My client didn’t have a lot of money to spend but desperately needed to renovate her 38 year old bathroom. So I turned to HomeDepot and Amazon to keep the prices down. The gorgeous river rock flooring cost a bit more, but still stayed within budget. Altogether, it made for a very rich look.
